Here we are again! New year, new comic, new…Uh…Post? I had a bit of a scare last night concerning the database for the website, which houses all of the comments, posts, and other things. I tried to go to the dashboard here to write this post early, when… I found that the entire database was gone! Completely gone!
I panicked, of course. I desperately looked for some way to fix it; there was none. I hadn’t been backing up my database at all (I have all the pages and code and graphics backed up though!). I found that Bluehost (which is what this website runs on) backs things up periodically, but I would have lost quite a bit of information using their database backup. So I went to bed rather late, grumpy and everything, but when I woke up this morning everything was back. So, uh…
I learned my lesson, I’m backing things up at least once a week. >_>; Which means for today’s strip, that…Worry can be good sometimes? So long as its productive in some way (like backing things up or saving data when you should) instead of just making you worry yourself sick for no reason.

I would indeed agree that some level of worry is indeed a good thing, mostly for being a concern, basically. If one were never concerned about anything, it would probably mean that they are apathetic or are living life in a fragile bubble where nothing has gone wrong before..and said bubble will pop rather soon. xP But yeah, definitely not good to worry yourself sick over nothing! *nodnod*
And I’m glad the database was only temporarily vanished.. Maybe Bluehost was updating servers or something? I dunno.. Still, good that everything was back and fine! Probably indeed good to back up the site at least once a week too. :3

Yep, that’s what I’m doing from now on.
Learned my lesson I did, talk like Yoda I must (Its 4 in the morning, lol).
And that’s what I meant! A concern is, I think at least, more productive than a worry. Because a concern leads to actions that alleviate said concern so…yeah, better than worrying! XP

That sounds like a serious scare with the database thing ._.;
It’s great you’ll be backing things up, and I’m sure what Kyle told his friends will no doubt be nothing but awesomeness :3
Though there’s no need to worry worry wolf!

Ooooh yeah, I was pretty freaked out! D: Especially since I’d be missing all the wonderful comments from you guys!
And knowing Kyle, he probably meant to tell them about FW, but ended up either talking about a place they ate at years ago, or all the tricks he’d used to play on him when they were younger, lol.
