YuYu Hakusho Opening – “Smiling Bomb”
Watch that first, then the title will make sense. 
I had that song stuck in my head the whole time when I was working on it, and it just seemed appropriate to name this comic after a great song. Its still one of my favorites, and I first heard it…7 years ago? Gosh its been a long time, lol.
The last line in the full version of the song is: “Your smile makes my heart explode!” which, you know…Smiling Bomb!
*hums it as he goes about his day now*

And Kyle does care, he just has a strange way of showing it I think. He’s maybe a little too playful and mischievous sometimes, which is probably why people think he’s a bit mean, lol. He really does care though!

Yeah, exactly! I’m still learning and trying to get things right, and I think I’ve done a few comics that have been silly and somewhat funny at least, so that’s hopefully a good thing. Its an ongoing process, and not everything’s going to be a gem I guess.

“Gem” every time for the storyline or not, the first reason I started following this webcomic was the great artwork, which consistently makes my heart go “pitter-patter” with how pretty (not to mention adorable) it is. Anything beyond that is icing on the cake (granted, icing makes the cake yummy, so I fully encourage your silliness to continue).

Hehe, he just has a funny way of dealing with people he cares about.
Mainly messing around with them, lol. He really does care though! He just doesn’t usually show that in any traditional way. He -did- treat FW to pizza when he first showed up you know (despite maybe eating most of it himself)!

Yeah, he did need a friend… at least Kyle knew he wasn’t that great of one. I hate it when you have to tell people that they aren’t all that nice. He seems to be a lot happier though! (Only 2 more months ’til I can finally try to make REAL friends

He does care though! He’s just not good at showing it! XD He did show up the first day FW moved in and showed him aroudn town and went out to dinner with him and stuff. I didn’t realize people thought he was being a jerk most of the time, lol. And yay for real friends, though why do you have to wait 2 more months to make friends? o_O

Graduation
When you’re in a school of 400 (including the middle school…) and everyone either 1) Just isn’t nice, 2) is just into partying, or 3) seems to be anti- anything I could like, having friends is a problem >.<

Well of course. Self-deprecating humor is often very useful in comedy, so putting aside that possibility would get rid of a lot of potential material. And yeah, I know FW isn’t actually -you-, the person typing these responses and drawing the comics, but it’s close enough to self-deprecating humor since we don’t know much more than the alternate name of Wilfredo.
Also…! Did you know that replies get locked after a certain number of posts? Example: our conversation above this one. Perhaps that was done to reduce spam on the comments page?

Might have to get my timelines straight on where I’ve seen you and when, ‘cuz I didn’t think I introduced Samantha to the online world ’til after you’d moved from the first place I saw you, and I didn’t join FA ’til a year or two after that. ‘Course, that doesn’t discount the possibility of you simply remaining a spectator on that first place I s’pose. I really liked it too! I remember watching the anime years ago, before they stopped airing it on Cartoon Network. But then I found out that they still were! Just at like 4 in the morning, lol. So I had to record the last season pretty much and watch them when I had the chance. I was sad when it ended, I didn’t realize I was so attached to all of the characters.
The whole group dynamic of the four of them was just really great, I hope to make a story like that someday.
