Before anyone asks, FW’s in a sleeping bag on the floor.
And please tell me I’m not the only one who had to sleep like that during sleepovers. XD
Whew! Mother’s Day sure was busy for me. XP Though my mom seemed to have a pretty good time, its hard to tell with her. If she gets upset later in the week and starts crying about how her Mother’s Day was horrible…Well, then I guess it’d be easy to tell if she really did enjoy today or not. :\
Aaaaanyway! Voting incentive up a bit later, took longer than I thought it would to sketch out, and I was extra busy today so just didn’t have time to finish it. XP Have a good day in any case!

No, no you aren’t the only one. x3 I insisted on it. XD It would just feel weird to sleep in someone else’s bed, especially forcing them out of it to do so. xP So sleeping bag on the floor for me! Only problem with it was when sleeping over at a friend’s house who had a big dog that liked coming into his room in the morning. >.>

Hehe, that’d be pretty bothersome… I know my dog would just like to lick all over anyone’s face, and dog breath isn’t a fun way to wake up in the morning. XP
I don’t think I’d feel comfortable sleeping in someone else’s bed either, especially if they were sleeping on the floor. XP
Reply
Nope, I slept on the floor too, Hardly ever got a sleeping bag even, just a spare blanket, a pillow and the floor… but I could sleep ANYWHERE as long as I got a pillow and blanket.
I have one friend who has smoker parents, every time I stay the night over there he offers me the couch or his bed. I INSIST on sleeping on the floor because If I stay on the couch, I get a GOOD lung-full of second hand, and if I take his bed, HE gets it… So I just take the floor in his room and be done.
And I was horrendous when it came to actually letting people sleep (still am), because I NEVER shut up, I ALWAYS have something on my mind that I could talk about and it gets to the point where either A: they start ignoring me and pretend sleep, or B: I find out what I’m doing and keep to myself.

As for the talking thing…Yeah, that might be a little annoying, especially if you’re like me and like to sleep, lol.

To be honest, my friend and I took turns sleeping on the sofa or the floor. xD The first night, I was on the sofa and the following night, I was on the floor. It was ok. Nothin’s wrong with it but I’m only worried about the bugs that might crawl up to me when I’m sleeping on the floor. D: (There was a HUGE spider on the floor, on where I was sleeping, in the philippines. Dx I freaked out a lot since I HATE spiders.)

@Khan-Wolfen, I wish I would’ve gotten a spare bed or something…Though if its anything like our spare “bed” was, it’d be a very uncomfortable experience, lol. There’s metal bars running across it, and the mattress is so thin you’re basically laying on 3 bars, one at your neck, one by your legs, and one right in the middle of your back. Not comfy at all. XP

Whenever I go visit my friend’s house, I tell them that I’m either sleeping on the floor or outside in a tree… Yeah, I know… My friends like coming over to my house for two reasons: One, they get away from their parents. And two, it’s just more fun, I guess! I have spare beds… Well, they’re actually mattresses, but what are you going to do? At least it’s something, right? Good job on the comic, and- ACK! Bus! You know, that happened to me too… The being sent home part. I went home, and thank god his mom got angry! I returned home to find out that someone was taking my stuff from my room. My grandmother wasn’t home, so they were just having the time of their lives takin’ everything that was precious to me. I don’t hunt, so I didn’t have a weapon… Except for a huge knife in the kitchen. He dropped my stuff (*words I could say but won’t* the idiot broke my Xbox360) and I told him to get out of our house or he’d wind up looking like the Xbox (which was in pieces). I was bluffing, but he didn’t know that. He left. I called the cops. Guy was arrested. End of story… I ended up back at my friends house, realizing that the arguement ended up in my friends favor. Lucky me, huh?

Either that or they’re on drugs. Any human who’s willing to risk their own health for a cheap thrill is just downright stupid. As for the danger factor on this town, it’s surprisingly low for most people. Our neighbors’ house was broken into once. I had expected us to be robbed at some point… Just to get an Xbox 360, too… What the- Oop! (Shouldn’t say that.) anyhow, my friend’s room leads straight out to the roof in a confusing way, and that way the parents wouldn’t know I was there! but I sleep outside almost as much as I do in. When I get really angry or depressed, I go out for late night walks. Sometimes I lose where I am, so I’ve learned to bring a blanket and sleep out in the woods occasionally. Just find a place where the coyotes can’t getcha and you’re set. Tho the bugs get kinda nasty… it’s quite literally camping under the stars. Best thing there is, especially when you find an open spot to look up at the stars. <—Reason 58 I love living in the middle of nowhere. Try it sometime!

Sitting so close to a cold computer?) I’ve stayed up for a full 52 hours once over there. My body crashed on the ride home XD! There was one time where I was up for a complete week. It started on a Monday at 3 AM, and for some unexplainable reason, I woke up screaming my lungs out… After that, I could not get any sleep. During the night, I would just lay there on my bed for a few hours until the sun came up. I did that for an entire week, and on the next Monday- here’s where it gets a little weird, at exactly 3 AM I was able to sleep… I don’t know what caused the screaming… Oh well, it’s just one of those things that will never be discovered.

This sort of reminds me of a sleepover I had once. I got the floor, and had forgotten to bring a sleeping bag of any sort, and found out that the carpet was rather ebrasive. So, after spending about 2 hours trying to get to sleep on this scratchy carpet, I finally fall asleep, only to suddenly wake up an hour later to find that my friend, who had been on the edge of his bed so as to better talk about random things, had rolled out out of bed and landed on me, somehow managing to get his foot into my face. He was still asleep, so I stole the bed. Needless to say, my friend was rather confused in the morning to find that he had ended up switching places with me. Ah, fun times. I think we were 10 at the time? I forget, but we were rather young.

I was talking to a friend I met online over the phone and I tripped over the hamper, banged my head against the wall (leaving a dent in it), twisted my legs so that I couldn’t move, and to top it all off, they were laughing hysterically… Where’s the video camera when you need it? I could be on America’s Funniest Home Videos! XD Oh, I almost forgot, nice incentive sketch! My friends tend to do that in history, always distracting me from my work for something nonsensical, but that’s on another topic that I’d rather not discuss at the time, considering I’m failing three of my classes.

AWESOME work on the comic. Sorry I didn’t comment earlier, I was just feeling really tired and couldn’t think straight. I love FW’s peek. And nice incentive picture, I sometimes feel like too, like when you are trying to do something and everyone wants you to do other things. And from the comments, I was reminded of a time when one of my friends had a sleepover kind of thing for his birthday, and there was two tv’s with an Xbox hooked up to each tv and the xbox’s were connected with a system link and we were playing halo 2 and there was the possibility of 8 people playing at once although I’m not sure if there were 8 people there but there was this one guy who was really good, he was even better than my friend who actually played halo most of the time it seemed. We actually played a game where it was everyone against this one guy and he still beat us all. I had actually stayed up all night so I pretty much knew what everyone was doing and everyone else was like going to sleep and I am like on the floor with my old laptop and i think playing halo once in a while, I’m not really sure. When it was breakfast time, there was cake and I think I had also lost a tooth there too, but I do know that I got a computer game from someone. It was really fun. Oh yeah, I remember this one time when I was playing, and I can play ok but I still suck a bit, but anyways, I was leaving this area and someone had come from along the path that connected to the area and I had shot them and actually ended up with a head shot, and they fell as if they had slipped on ice or were running and then hit a horizontal bar at their forehead level. That is pretty much the best description I can think of at the moment and if you can’t picture it from my description of it, then I apologize. And something that I know about myself is that, if the topic is right, I can actually talk about it to someone and then just continue talking about it for a while even if they stop listening to what I am saying and I am actually told to stop talking and then other times I don’t talk much. so pretty much there are times where you can’t get me to talk and then there are times where you can’t get me to shut up, kinda like now.*Takes a breath* lol. KEEP UP THE INCREDIBLE WORK. CAN’T WAIT FOR THE NEXT ONE.:)
