Sometimes, when the outer skin of the tree (Bark) is split or cracked (or full of holes from bugs or birds pecking at bugs) the sap leaks out. We call that pitch. If it dries hard as rock, it's then called Amber. So, it's possible for Kyle to get that stuff in the fur. Cooking oil will remove it rather well, though. Hmmmm... maybe that explains why some dogs smell like Popcorn. :-D Pitch?
