Wooooooo! Tablet is fixed and ready to go! 
I took into account all of the different comments people left about the comic while it was just sketches, and I’ve been thinking about how to implement things so they are as appealing as those were. I still want things to be in full color and whatnot, it’d just be too lazy of me to never ink and color anything. 
But I did this comic completely digitally, hoping to catch some of the “expressiveness” that the sketches had. Backgrounds are going to be much simpler from now on (for the most part), so…We’ll see how things go from here!
Oh, and don’t forget to vote too! Thanks everybody!

I did a careful visual analysis and have come to the assumption it was made of fruits, grain, and vegetables with a chance of some form of meat.

Certain species of dog’s have hair, so it doesn’t stop growing. They need regular grooming, and thus the joke.
FW’s head fur = Hair
Grooming = Haircut

I think its working quite well, with the look of the backgrounds… Probably some tweaking will make it perfect, but that’s what experimentation is all about right? And of course, great wisdom that has been passed to me, I shall pass to you, mistakes are our greatest allies as artists, and we should welcome them, so long as we recognize them for what they are! 1000 mistakes are worth making 1 success. I’m curious to see how this approach will work outside the school settings, I’m curious as to how you will attempt it. :3 Glad to see you have the color back, btw. In terms of line weight, I’m feeling more of the “warmth” from the graphite that you had, so I’m glad to see it looks to be working! Good luck, I’m enjoying reading your comic and your progression as an artist. :3

Yeah, I’m gonna try some more experimentation with the backgrounds! I’m thinking lighter colors and sort of a lineless, mostly solid colors look to it, but we’ll see how it goes. You know, all I did with the lines this time (besides drawing the whole thing digitally) was use a bigger brush while inking! Maybe a slightly bigger one might help too, since it’d lead to more variation in the line widths using the tablet’s pressure sensitivity. I dunno, I’ll try it out on the next one.

Humour at somebody else’s expense is best acheived through embarassment, especially when you are not the one to embarass them. The following sentences seem to summarize it rather well: “Hey, something embarassing happened to somebody! Let’s all go laugh and make them feel insecure about themselves, possibly leading to long-term self esteem problems!” Interesting, that describes the common public school mentality that most people deal with, or have dealt with in their childhood. Go figure, eh?
