#117 – Unrequited Competition

Ah, Kyle… Lex doesn’t seem to really care that he sees him as such a rival. Kind of makes you wonder what he’d think they’d compete on, huh? Though FW seems a bit bored with Kyle making a spectacle of himself again.

Hope everyone’s week went alright! It seemed to go foreeeeeeever! But was over too soon, at least free time wise.

Also got Phantasy Star Zero! Haven’t played it for too long yet, but its been a lot of fun so far!

Kyle does have a point about not having to agree though but yea whenever someone says High Standards yea know hes gonna be a goit, heh

Aw man! I’m not sure what Kyle’s shirt is a reference to now. Probably haven’t played the game it’s from.

I’m not sure what game it might be from, though it does kind of resemble the top half of Ganon’s head from the Game Over screen from Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.

I did have an idea what it was from, but that’s a story for another comic.

Haha, thanks for noticing! Yeah, just something new I wanted to try out, and I have to say I like it a lot better. I’ll probably stick with it from now on.

And so here we see the beta male challenging the alpha for control over the pack. And..What? One’s a fox? that’s not what the script says… What do you mean ‘screw the script??’ I’ll have you know I was acting on broadway while you were still blowing spit bubbles at your reflection! And another thing…

Nice job on the comic. Lookin’ pretty awesome. And I think it’s funny that despite FW getting bored with Kyle making a spectacle of himself..he’s still just standing there instead of trying to find his class. x3

Phantasy Star is a fun game series, at least that’s what I’ve been able to decipher from Tatsudoshi’s playthroughs of them with Corn, Kold, and Spazzy.

what kind of rivals are they anyway, are they like super villain v. superhero or suprehero v. superhero rivals or are they like Gai v. Kakashi rivals

Haha, Sinestro is awesome. I remember when he showed up on the old Superman cartoon and simply tied Superman to a giant drill and sent him drilling down to the middle of the Earth, like he wasn’t even worth his time.

Forget sibling rivalry…

Rivalry brought on by newly emerging Testosterone poisoning will do the job nicely.

Ooooh, I really do want to play it! But my nostalgia for Phantasy Star Online over-rode even that, so I ended up getting that one first.

Either Lex is trying too hard, is English, or of a high class because the way he sounds his vocabulary is that of a mature adult. Not even the staff at the school sound like that.
