#49 – Rock Bottom

I swear I’ll be nicer to him soon, honest! XD

This comic is based on two things: first, my own experiences, and second, this awesome episode of Spongebob where it draws its title from (look for it on Youtube, I couldn’t find a good copy!).

For my college I have to take the bus to and from school. And I dunno what it is, but the bus drivers there act like they’re on the strictest schedule in the world, no time for mess-ups! If you’re not standing at the curb, right next to the sign, and looking at the bus as it comes up, they simply keep on going.

Unfortunately, FW broke one of those rules. Thanks Damien! (Joking, joking! )

I’ve been there. Unfortunately, it was my fault the bus passed! Was standing at the front of an awkwardly orderly bus line, and was feeling bored >_> So when the bus driver started driving up, I waved him along, and he quickly pulled out of the parking lane and drove right on by.

I casually power-walked out of line and didn’t look back XD

I decided I didn’t want to go to school that day.

I don’t know why I ended up ruining other people’s day though…

ack, i remember that happened once, was waiting for the bus, and looked at the table to see what time it would come and the git just happene to come….and drive by as i was looking at the table >.> good thing that they always come in pairs here XD long live this rainy Island and its double bus combos!

Yay magical island land where you have a second chance to catch buses! XD Things aren’t like that at all up here, if I miss my bus its another hour for the next one, lol.

…Yes. It rains a lot. XD I mean, not a whole lot in volume, but it just rains often. XD

Considering the bus that takes me anywhere from home directly comes by only once an hour, I end up doing everything I can to ensure I -don’t- have this happen. XD Which includes being 10-20 minutes early to the stop, continually staring down the street where it shall turn the corner, and when they do show up, making a big show of shifting and moving about such as getting my ticket out, so that it seems more obvious that I’m preparing to get on the bus. x3

Yep, that’s what I end up doing too! If you’re not attentive they just cruise on by, its terrible… XP

It never happen to me for wave the hand, in my case was the driver laziness. I was waiting for a bus ,that its supposed come each 20 m, during 2 hours. At the end I saw the bus coming with tears of happiness in my eyes and when the driver stopped near of me: he looked me, I looked him, he looked the empty bus and his clock. Finally he press a bottom to put the “Out of services” in the screen of the bus and the bus go without me. Since this day I dont like the bus drivers, the problem is that in my isle the only public transport are the bus T.T

…Wow, that’s just terrible… XD

That bus driver sounds like a real jerk, but not all of them are like that! Maybe!

I remember barely getting to the bus stop on time one day, but the bus driver had already closed the door and was already moving. I slammed on the door, but the guy wouldn’t stop the bus, leaving me behind. I think that was the year that I stopped riding the bus.

That’s happened to me too, though I chased after it a while before realizing, “Wait, I’m running down the street…” and hopping back onto the curb.

I really can’t blame them though, at least around here they really are run on a strict schedule, lately I’ve seen signs at all the stops saying “The bus driver cannot wait for late riders!” or something to that effect.

Alright every one on the fail bus. I think he needs his cousin to chase him home.

Haha, you’d think that right? XD Kyle’s usually busy with lots of after school activities, so that’s not very likely I’m afraid.

Nope, not boring at all! And yeah, that’s possibly one of my favorite Spongebob episodes…I’ve got a ton of favorites though!

And they -never- stop! They just sort of look at you like you’re crazy and just keep driving… XD

I was so happy the other day at school because I just caught an early bus, the driver actually waited for me. So I was pulling out my bus pass, then I realized that I’d driven that day. u_u
