#64 – Its Just a Friendly Bet…Right Guys?
Oh! Are things starting to pick up now? Who will come out on top in this battle of wits (and words formed from plastic tiles)? Think Scrabble but even more intense! Scramble involves rapidly placing words in a strict time limit, all while shouting random battle cries!

Hehehehe… sounds like fun! I wonder who the loser will be, and what he’ll have to do! I don’t want to wait until Friday!
Also, something that I noticed, why is it that, when Damien decides to whisper to FW, that FW has his ear turned against Damien, wouldn’t it be easier to hear him if the ear was pointed towards Damien? Also, why is he whispering? Who’s gonna hear him, the government? The people watching them from secret hidden cameras (Hah, like that could ever happen)? Why is it so secret that not even the floor can know?

You know, I tried to draw it with his ear facing him, but it just didn’t look right to me! So we’ll just say that he has very good hearing and leave it at that, lol. Just cause his ear isn’t facing him doesn’t mean he doesn’t hear anything from that direction afterall.
And have you -seen- the floor? Always laying around…Loitering! Its up to no good I tells ya!

The dogs/fox/wolfs/ etcs, cant spin his ears 360ยบ XD, when they are paying atention to only one side close the other, so this I think that in the second panel looks more natural.

I haven’t play either, but I’d think that its says things like “HA in your face” or “OBJECTION!”XD
For me the cutest part is the first, there damien looks yonger. And in the second the FW expresion is… interesting

Reminds me of an episode of King of the Hill when Peggy is freaking out because she’s unable to save her 7-letter Scrabble words from Y2K.
I’m also curious to know what sort of bet requires whispering even when there are no other people in the room. o_o

Well, I figure he was a bit further away was all. I was trying to make it seem like FW was closer to the “camera” (hence why he’s a little darker in the panel), but I guess that didn’t work out as well as I’d hoped. Thankfully, added cuteness is a plus so that makes up for a bit of it!

I’ve got an auto spam and auto language filter on here, and although they work well most of the time, sometimes regular comments will get stuck in it and I’ll have to go through and approve them. sadly, when FW! realized that he was expected to dance the Macerena on America’s got Talent (or otherworldly equivalent) while balancing a plate upon his nose, while bullfighting he soon regretted this decision.

I love this comic. The art is really good in my opinion. i have this website bookmarked so that i can read it at anytime. I think that i am kinda like FW, and I was even had the same thing happen to me although I was a little older when my family moved. The only thing different is that I didn’t have any family members that was closer to my age over here and I am kinda of a shy person, so it is harder for me to make friends. Love your comic and I will continue to read it.
