Filler – “Magical Dreamers”

I really am tired… xP Still, I wanted to do a little something at least since I couldn’t manage the comic for today. I haven’t played Chrono Cross myself, but a friend got me hooked on the music from it and I have to say its a great soundtrack. “Magical Dreamers” is one of my favorites that I’ve heard so far.

So anyway! Enjoy the sketch, I may upload the full picture if anyone wants to see the whole thing. Like my poorly drawn palm tree or something.

Thanks for the well wishing on the finals too! I think I did a good job on them!

Thanks, I’m happy to be done with them… X3 And that’s what I’ve heard so far! I don’t have the game to play it though!

You might also consider playing Radical Dreamer eventually. It’s a pre-Chrono Cross text-based SNES game that only came out in Japan. It also has good music, by the way.
And Magical Dreamer, huh? That’s actually music from a rock concert in the game that helps you get rid of various monsters roaming a Mystic village. Optional quest, but pretty fun.

I read a bit about Radical Dreamers too, though if I’m not mistaken wasn’t it mostly just text-based with some images and music? Or am I thinking about something else entirely and my tired mind is labeling it as that?

You’ve got it. That’s mostly what it was. Had random battles, oddly enough. No XP, though, so I’m not sure what the point was. It’s best played with save-states, so you don’t have to worry about dying too much, since it has multiple endings as well that’re hard to figure out.

Chrono Cross!
In my opinion, much more confusing (and not as epic) than Chrono Trigger X3 but still a pretty cool game.

There needs to be more wolf characters in anime and games! He could join the ranks of such epic heroes as Ookami and the Wolf’s Rain pack! Or may be he and the twins could be an anthropomorphic version of Lone Wolf. Lone Wolf and Cub(s)!

I agree, there should be more wolf characters around! And not all of them bad! Wolves get a bad wrap I think. :\

O.o I looooooooove Chrono Cross! It’s one of my favorite RPG’s of all time ^_^ (I’m one of those losers that still has hope for Chrono Break… XD) Mitsuda is an amazing composer, you should check out some of his stuff orchestrated by “PLAY!” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NITRZK8z0ek Think my favorite song is… Time’s Scar, Radical Dreamers, or Star-Stealing girl. As you can tell by my incessant raving, I think this game is a must play:) not just for the music though! Oh yeah, congrats on doing well on the finals

Everyone seems to think the game’s great, so maybe I’ll try to play it sometime. I agree though, he is a great composer. I like Time’s Scar too (or is that Scars of Time?), and thanks for that Youtube link, that’s some great music. Very epic!

As for what I use for drawing…A pencil! No really, that’s what I use. XD On this one it was just a normal pencil, then I cleaned it up a bit and darkened a few bits with my little sketch kit (6 drawing pencils of differeing hardness). That’s about all I use for sketches.

Well, then apparently I either suck at scanning, cleaning it up, or all of the above XD Or maybe I just draw too lightly/am too messy

I love Chrono Cross. But Wuffie, you need to play more Chrono Trigger. D:<
