Here we go, pretty much up and running now!  Comics will show up soon, by the end of the week, so stay tuned! 

This is the first of many comics, so stay tuned!  Things only get better from here folks.  ;P  Especially as I get into the swing of things, and a feel for drawing and coloring this things.  Like cars.  And trees.

Hmm…

I’m not sure, but I don’t think I like the coloring in the comics so far.  See, I’m used to doing fully colored -and- shaded drawings, and without the shading, things seem sort of…Bland?  So, there are two (well, three) possibilities for fixing this:

1) I add in color shading.  This will probably add another hour or two to making each comic, and I’m not too sure if I could handle that at this time.

2) I add in pen shading.  That is, I draw in the shadows with ink (sort of how I did on #2, but better).  I could use the practice for it…

3) I ignore this feeling and just go with how things are now.

Just a note! 

These will be the days I plan on updating the comic.  First of all, since I’m in school, Wednesday updates may or may not happen, but the Saturday ones always should.  So, for example, I couldn’t do a comic for today, so make sure to check back on Saturday for a new one (or two?  We’ll see). 

Tried out something new with today’s comic! Not sure how well I like it, although it does make doing backgrounds a little easier…I like how I can make things both in focus and out of focus at the same time this way, while the other way even things in the far background had to be drawn in, which slowed things down considerably. In any case, hope you enjoy the comic, more on the way this week!

I’m not gonna be able to get the comic up in time for this week’s update, but I will try to get it done later today!

Sorry everyone, but it looks like I’m not going to be able to do a comic this week.  Lately, I’ve been having more and more trouble getting them done on time…It might not seem like 3 panels is very much work to do, but they do take considerable planning and time to draw and color and whatnot, coupled with the fact that I don’t like to rush things, so I can give everyone the best artwork I possibly can.

In this case, I think I need to change updates to once a week, on Sundays I think.  That would give me a little more time to get things up when I need to, and would probably result in more regular updates.  When I get out of school in about a month or so, expect the bi-weekly updates to start again! 

School is really bearing down on me, as well as certain family issues (which I won’t get into here). My time is getting more and more limited it seems…

But basically, this means that there will be no new comic for tomorrow, I just can’t finish one in time. However, I believe next weekend is a three day weekend for me, and I will try my level best to get two comics done then.

I’m really sorry everyone, I didn’t mean to miss two updates in a row.  Things have gotten really hectic with school ending for the quarter, and with how things are around my house…

I haven’t given up though.  Far from it.  I have a lot of plans for FW and the others, and once I get a chance things will really pick up around here.
