Wow, Thanksgiving is coming up fast! I’ll try to have some special comic up for Friday about it. Though here’s something for you all to think about for the holiday (if you live in the USA at least, lol):

What are you thankful for?

I think people forget that that’s what the holiday’s really about, and not just stuffing yourself silly with turkey.

There are a few I didn’t get to this time though, I’ll be getting to those next week hopefully, along with any new ones you all have. With that out of the way, answers after the break!

Also, I’m curious: How many of you participate in Halloween?  And what are you dressing up as?

Here’s the first round of questions:

Q: How come the furs never wear any footgear?

Q: who of them likes videogames and which one is their favorite? :p

Well, all of them like video games (except for Bee), so I just picked FW and Mouse for this one.

Q: Is Damien really as oblivious as he seems?

Q: How much time approximately does it take you to think up and draw one of the pages in the comic?

A: Hmm, this is a tough one. It really depends on the idea, complexity of the scene and the number of characters in the comic. For the double tall comics (6 instead of 3 panels) it can sometimes take 4 or 5 hours. Normally it takes me about 2 to 3 hours to make a comic, if the idea is set in my head. When I’m stressed and don’t have much time to work on one though, it can take much longer, as I have to think of the idea and sketch it out and everything beforehand.

I do have someone who’s willing to help me with at least the coloring, so that’s been a big help so far.

1. Keep it clean!
2. Questions here won’t affect the comic! So asking Bee something like “Do you know FW likes you?” won’t change the fact that she’s a bit clueless in the comic still.
3. Don’t always expect a straight answer! The character might not know what you’re talking about even, or might just want to give a silly reply. We’ll see how it goes.

…I think that’s all I can think of for now. XD So! Feel free to ask away. Later on I might limit which of the cast you can ask questions of, but for now feel free to ask anyone!

Oh, and if you’re shipping computer parts/accessories of any kind, PLEASE make sure that the packaging they’re in is sturdy enough to withstand normal shipping conditions. XP

Look for a new comic Monday, and a KH comic on Wednesday. Updates should continue regularly next week.

Okay, as you can probably see, the site’s finally coming together! There’s a few things I need to fix (certain comics aren’t displaying correctly for instance) and I need to get to fixing up the KH site as well, but overall I’d say things are looking good. Everything should be perfect by the end of the week at latest.

Now, the site’s looking alright, but everybody’s here for the comics, correct? Well, no worries there. I hope to have those back in full swing by my birthday this month (so the 25th), and hopefully keep up regular updates from there. In the meantime I might put up some more character sketches, we’ll see.

Yes, this means that things have improved for me as well! I’ve got a job (a great one in fact), and I seem to be doing pretty well at it. I know I enjoy it a lot at the very least. So now that making it through each day isn’t as much of a concern, I can focus on other things: that is, making silly comics for all of you.

Things are on the up and up, and I feel more relaxed and not quite so stressed, so I think that’s time to get this thing back in gear. We’ll see how those goes!

I really hate to do it, but I think I’m going to have to take a break from comics for a while. I’ve tried to keep things running, but my current living situation is not really conducive to working on a webcomic every week, much less drawing at all. I just can’t handle it right now.

And I know, this is disappointing, especially since this month is the 3 year anniversary of starting the comic…Man that’s disappointing. But life’s like that sometimes, it really sucks. For anyone out there that’s disappointed to hear that, I’m probably even moreso; but I don’t want to put FW and the others through half-thought out, rushed ideas if I can help it. That’s not really fair to the characters, and its a bit of a waste. I’ve felt like I’ve been doing that lately, and I know I can do better. Just not right now, as things stand.

So, until things improve…Its time for a hiatus again. A permanent one? Not likely. A long one? We’ll see. I just need to pull things together, and right now, I’m not able to.

From Texas that is! Hello everyone!

First off, apologies for no comic on Monday, or, well, today! That trip took a lot out of me, and I didn’t get home until late Monday night. Aren’t vacations supposed to leave you feeling refreshed? D: Maybe for my next one, I need to go out in the countryside somewhere and meditate under a waterfall.

…Actually, that’d be pretty awesome. XD

In any case! New comic Monday, and new KH page Wednesday! Got an interview today, so wish me luck! I can’t do freelance stuff forever after all.

Yeah, apologies everyone! Things just get dropped into your lap sometimes, you know? There’s not much that can be done about it.

Still, I’ll see you all on Monday! As for the KH comic, I think I figured out an update schedule that works, which is every other week. So, hopefully on Wednesday they’ll be a new page for that too. I’m just one guy trying to do all this, so its hard work sometimes!
